Happy 2011 everyone...I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and celebrated ringing in the New Year with family and friends...
We had a very nice Christmas Eve with our Daughter, Kristin and Travis ( our new son-in-law) and our son Joe...Since this was the first Christmas for Kristin and Travis as a newly married couple.. they wanted to spend the day at there home so we all got together on Christmas Eve and exchanged gifts..I backed a ham and made homemade macaroni and cheese....along with a meat and cheese tray...chips and dip...and lots and lots of Christmas cookies and punch...
Christmas day was spent just relaxing and enjoying a meal of Turkey and all the trimmings..
By mid week I started taking down all the Christmas decorations and by Friday the 12ft. tree was down and put away..It was allot easier coming down then it was putting up...Now the fun begins....Cleaning and rearranging the furniture and accessories...
I done over my Dry sink today....tried different displays and not totally satisfied with the look..
So I went outside and cut two bundles of greens from my Azalea bushes and put them in one of my wooden drawers for the top shelf and used a Blue Enamelware Coffeepot for the second grouping...
Thing's are pretty much back to normal here at the Olde Homestead...The days spent just enjoying the slowed down pace of everyday life...
Santa was good to us and the New Year came in pretty quiet...so with that said I need to start on my brand new To Do List and get some projects underway...
I hope the New Year ahead brings good health...happiness and well being for all you ladies that stop in for a visit...Thank you for all the wonderful comments...Take care and God Bless...
Prim hugs,
Trena

Your drysink display looks great. Most of my stuff is back in place , but I have been having trouble with my drysink display - just not quite happy with it yet. Oh well, that is the fun of decorating - working with it until you get it just right.
Have a Blessed New Year!
Sue
