It's coming to a close....

Hello prim friends....

How's everyone doing after all the hustle and bustle of Christmas...We had a wonderful time with family...started on Christmas eve day when our daughter came home to spend a couple of days home with Mom,Dad and brother...

We started out with riding around acouple of nearby towns looking at Christmas lights....we have done this every year as long as I can remember...
After looking at all the beautiful lights we headed on home to open all the gifts and spend some quality time with one another....

Now its five days later and most of the Christmas decor is down and put away....I started on decluttering yesterday and what a difference how the house looks without all the decorations..

I've paired down quite abit the past couple of years with all the decor...it just looks so much better without something in every nook and cranny of the house..Simplify...Simplify...Simplify...

I took alittle break today and done a quick makeover on my wooden box that I bought acouple of weeks ago....It was a bright mustard color and I changed it out to a barn red.....I was going to leave it as is but when I set it down against the tongue and groove wall it blended in to much with the color of the wood...so out came the paint and stain..

This is before the face lift....

This is after....I set it beside my black hutch that I had done over earlier in the year....I new when I seen it...it would be perfect beside my Recliner holding my Country Sampler magazines...and that's is exactly what I am using it for....

Well as I said..this year is quickly coming to a close....I can't believe how fast this year went...But I guess there's no use worrying about it....its out of our hands and we can't do anything about it anyway...

So thanks for stopping by....take care and stay safe and warm where ever you are....

Hugs to all...
Trena
