~Hutch makeover and a few stills~

Hello everyone...another beautiful fall day here today....I've been getting caught up on some of the makeovers that I've wanted to get done while the weather was still warm .This makeover is on my hutch that I had painted black last summer and the more I looked at it the more I was  dissatisfied with it...so I decided to brighten up the shelves alittle bit..
I got out my valspar paint  and gave them three coats of beige paint then sanded them to give them a worn look and applied a coat of minwax, walnut stain to darken them up a bit..
And the next three photos are stills from the hutch...
Prim hugs,
Trena

Love the use of a shutter for the shelf backing and taking the original dark back off really did make a difference. Painting the shelves a lighter color was a great idea too. Looks like it is perfect now.

Perfect update on your cupboard Trena. The shelves pop now. Your top shelf is wonderful with that shutter as the backdrop. I may have to borrow that idea.
Have a blessed day,
AMY
