Ditty Bags....Spring Thyme

Hello all prim friends....

I hope all is well with everyone...

Were getting ready for another Northeastern heading our way today here in central Pa..
Not much snow expected...just hurricane winds....
Hubby and I went in town to the store to get milk and bread....the store was like a mad house...you'd think everyone is going to be home bound for months on end the way people were grabbing things off the shelf's....Unbelievable.....

I've been busy the past couple of days making homemade peanut butter eggs for Easter....getting a heads up on my candy making....Instead of waiting until the last minute...

I'm trying to stay busy thruout the day...this weather is just getting to be annoying....I've never in my life felt this anxious for warm weather to come....Just counting the days until spring...

In the sewing department I made up some ditty bags last night for on my peg racks around my home..I got them coffee dyed this morning....wrinkles pressed out....artificial flowers added into them...

I also sewed three primitive ditty bags with two done with willow trees stitched on them and one with a crow....Hopefully I can get them finished up sometime today and show pics of them tomorrow...

So this post will be fairly short today....I need to get some laundry done along with cleaning and waxing my hardwood floors...

Thanks all for stopping by.....wishing everyone a wonderful day and stay safe...

Prim hugs to all,

A little bit of Spring Thyme

Hello everyone....

Like the rest of you all over the country I am so tired of looking out the window and seeing nothing but snow...

I've been adding alittle bit of spring around my home these past couple of weeks to lift everyone spirits and to add some hope that spring is just around the corner...

This arrangement I put in my old loaf pan and set on the windowsill at my kitchen sink...

The next two arrangements I put in my long john baskets and hung them on my Frenchdoors ...

I don't add alot of fake flowers in my arrangements around my home..

but this time of year just alittle bit of color makes the world of difference..

Thanks for stopping by for a visit and I wish everyone a wonderful weekend...

Prim hugs to all,

PFALTZGRAFF COLLECTION

Hello everyone....

I thought I would show you all my collection of Pfaltzgraff dinnerware that we have had for many years and I use it everyday for dinner..

I went on the Pfaltzgraff website to research the dinnerware and thought you would enjoy reading the description they gave for this Folk Art design...
The Folk Art design illustrates the simplicity of an earlier time..The early salf-glazed pottery made by Pfaltzgraff were the inspiration for the Folk Art collection...

My collection consists of 8 Dinner plates..

8 Soup/Cereal Bowls, 8 Salad Plates and 8 cups and saucers...

I arranged them on my shelfs in my Summer kitchen to take the pictures but there back in my cupboard for my everyday use..
I hope you all enjoyed reading alittle bit of history...
Thanks for stopping by and the wonderful comments..
Hugs to all,
Trena
