Yellow Ware Bowls and Son...

Hello everyone..
I hope all is well and your all settling into a new year...
I can't believe this month is almost over..but Spring is on its
way so that gives us all something to look forward to..
Warm temperatures..White puffy clouds and gorgeous blue sky...

This Winter has been the mildest on record here in Pa..
We had 4 inches of snow last Saturday..only the second snowfall this Winter..
I'm not complaining I'll just be glad when Spring and Summer is here..

I apologize for not being on here allot..I check in every so often to see how
everyone is doing but we've been working on the remodeling of the Sun room non stop..
The wood flooring is the last thing to be done...The walls are finished along with the wainscoting..The beams are stained along with the crown molding..The fireplace mantel that I had gotten out of  my
Grandparents farmhouse was given a new look and installed ...I am so
ready for this room to be done..It seems like we have been working
on it forever..I'll have to take some pictures and show you all the progress we have
made but I'll save that for another post...

I did want to share something my son had bought me when we were out antiquing this
past month...I have looked for these every time we would be out but never could
find any...It just happened by accident that we had stopped at this Antique shop while on
our way to another shop ...I couldn't believe my eyes when I seen these on a shelf..
Around this area of the country everyone hangs on to there collectibles and they are
very hard to find..
The gentleman that owns the Antique Shop confirmed that these bowls are rarely at
any of the Estate sales that he attends and he very seldom sees any up for sale...
So when I seen these babies you better believe they were coming home with me..lol

I'm going to give credit where credits due my son very generously bought me all four of
these bowls.....He knew I've been looking for these for along time and he very graciously
bought them for me..One of my pet peeves is when someone doesn't tell the truth and takes
credit for something they have...Give Credit Where Credits Due...Don't lie..don't act like
you bought it..just tell the truth..its very simple.
No ones going to judge you for telling the truth...Just be honest...

With that said I set all four of the bowls on top of my Hoosier Cabinet for now...
With the rearranging of the Summer Kitchen and the finishing up of the Sun Room which
flow into one another they will set proudly on my Hoosier Cabinet for the time being..

Overlook the yellow stains on the cabinet..I've tried everything
I could think of to clean them off but they won't budge..
I want to leave the cabinet as is because the chipped paint and stains give it so much character...
You can tell it was a well used cabinet and that's what I liked about it.

Thank you all for stopping by for a visit..
Come back when you get a few minutes out of your busy schedules...
Have a great day...take care and stay safe...

Prim hugs,
Trena

Oh wow Trena, those are beautiful! How fortunate you are to find so many at one time!! Around here, that would have cost you a fortune. I'm always on the lookout for those wonderful bowls, but they are always out of my price range so I just admire and go on. I keep hoping to come across a good deal one of these days. =] They look great on top of your cabinet!

Have a fantastic week~

Such a great collection, all at once. How lucky that was. I love them all and they look great on the cabinet. Enjoy!
