New Paint Color....

I've been keeping busy with some paint projects and the
most recent one I finished was painting my Front Door and
the Sun room Door....
After seeing the color that Dan..http://www.yesterdayoncemore.blogspot.com... chose for his front door, I contacted him back on March 23 and inquired about the paint color and where he purchased it...
He has white columns and beige siding on his house and mine is sort of similar
with white columns and mountain stone...I needed a color that would really
stand out and make the colors of the stone pop...Martha Stewart  Living in the color of Kiln..purchased at Home Depot...
We don't have a Home Depot near us and Lowes doesn't carry that brand of paint
so I put that project on hold...
While spending the weekend with my Daughter we decided to do some shopping ..
she had a Home Depot near her so I ran in and bought the paint that I have been wanting since Spring....
Yesterday bright and early I put the first coat of paint on the doors...left them dry for an
hour or so then gave them a second coat....
I can't believe the difference in the way the house looks with the Front Door and
Sun room Door painted....Everybody says how much the colors in the mountain stone stand out
now...Its amazing just what a coat of paint can do...Total transformation..

This is the Front door...

This is a full view of our front porch...

And this is the Sun room Door...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit..
Everyone have a wonderful weekend..
Take care..

Prim hugs,
Trena

Spot-on perfect color!!! Beautiful!! We used to have wooden storm door on our front entrance that was originally a brownish-red. When it came time to repaint it, we must have tried 100 different colors of red and red tones - never did find the right one (we were aiming for the color you have!) We now have just a glass outer door.... Great job!! Have a happy Friday! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

We are considering the Kiln color for an exterior accent color. Our house has three front gables with cedar shingles. We would do the cedar shingles and the doors in Kiln. We've been looking for a nice red brown and thinking maybe Kiln might be the perfect color. Your thoughts?
