Happy Monday everyone..
I hope all you ladies had a wonderful Mother's Day...
I spent my day with the family...just a quiet day enjoyed by all..
Since the weather is finally cooperating I've been spending alot of my time outside
getting yard work done and working in my flower gardens...
Working in the garage cutting out boards for different projects that I wanted to get done..
Then having the luxury of painting them on the picnic table in the warm sunshine..
I received the Summer issue of A Primitive Place a day last week and for those that
haven't seen it or haven't subscribed to it yet...its a must see to believe...Its well worth your time to
buy this magazine...
I always look forward to seeing what the wonderful staff has in store for all of us and they never let you down...
I tryed my hand at making the Colonial Plate Rack and a Faux Pewter Plate that was submitted by Kris Thomas...
I don't think it turned out to bad for the first one I have ever made...
Even the two Faux Pewter Plates came out better that I expected...You see I'm always my worse critic when I make things for our home...
I hung it in our Family room on the opposite side of the Black hutch and the window...
Here's a close up ...
I am so pleased in how it turned out I think there's going to be a few more made for the Olde Homestead..
Thanks for stopping by for a visit..Come back when you get some time from your busy schedules...
Have a wonderful day ..
Prim hugs,
Trena
