I hope all is well with everyone on this First Day of Summer...
It started out a little gloomy this morning but fast cleared off and the sun is shinning brightly with no clouds in the sky...Another beautiful day to be living in God's Country...

With all that said I thought I would show you all a recent
purchase that I made for The Olde Homestead...
Four Colonial Lamps with fabric shades included...
Two of the shades were dented in quite a few places but I'm going to purchase
tin shades for all four anyway...not a big deal..
The original price was $59.99 and I bought them on sale of $39.79..
I couldn't pass up a bargain..

Now the fun part is changing prim displays around

and finding new homes for my new lamps...

Makeover Madness......

Happy Saturday everyone..
Its another gorgeous day her in Central Pa...
The temperature was close to 100 on Thursday but I'm not
going to be one of those that complain about the heat after the long cold
miserable Winter we had..
Thankful for the beautiful sunshine and cool nights....

As my title states I've been working overtime on allot of makeovers that  had been put
on the back burner over the Winter...
The largest piece that I finished up was my Entertainment Center that
is in the Family room  in the lower level of my home...
I had already painted it in Peppercorn from Caromal Colours then just recently
I added two doors to hide the TV and sewed black and cream homespun material
skirts for the shelves...

I changed out the display on the top by adding my old bread riser with geraniums..bee skep and a old wooden house with my Colonial lantern...

I'm really pleased on how the makeover turned out...it gave the Entertainment Center a whole
new look without spending allot of money...

So that will be just about it for today....
I needed a  break from cleaning windows and Ironing curtains ....
and thought I would pop in and say hello to all and wish you a warm beautiful sun shinny Saturday..
