Windsor chairs..........

Good morning blogging buddies.....I just got back from my morning walk....hung a load of laundry out on the clothes line.....now I am ready to start crafting.....I've been working on these Windsor chairs for a customer for fall....I made these up for a show last fall I done and they went like hotcakes...

Hubby bought 63 of these little babies for me acouple of years ago from an organization that wanted rid of them so I've been using them here and there around the house..

Allot of them needed repaired....spindles cracked or seats cracked....but I still wanted them....

I painted these four...two black with blessings and autumn gatherings signs and two brown with autumn blessings and autumn thyme signs....I haven't seen any of these chairs done up for fall in any of the crafts shops around here so I am anxious to see how they sell...My buyer doesn't know I am going to bring these with the rest of her order so I am anticipating her reaction...

I hope you all enjoyed looking at my newest creation....I'm off to get somemore crafting done...

I have so many ideas in my mind for fall crafts.....I started writing them down and checking off the ones that are completed and prioritizing the ones that I want to make for this season...

This post will be short and sweet.....I want to get a jump on some pumpkins with witches hats that need to be painted while the sun is out .....They dry outside in a matter of minutes compared to putting them in the oven for 10 minutes....

Happy Thursday everyone....its been a busy week here on Coveredbridge Road....outside...hubby finishing up on the mountain stone on the new addition of the sun room.....inside I have been working on a order for fall merchandise....

Sunroom added....Stonework finished up...

I thought I would show everyone why I haven't been posting to much this summer...



The mountain stone is finally done on the front of our home....



This is the front of my home and DH and I have been working on ....from the bottom of the picture window up to the roof line had be done...Left to right of the house...including windowsills...



This has been along time coming....that's another story...I won't bother you girls with it.

This is a close up of the front.....the scaffolding is still up along with the wooden planks...

In fact I was standing up on the roof of the front porch today washing all the windows outside along with the screens..

Then got my handy bucket,brush and garden hose and cleaned the spouting down...got all the winter dirt and grime off....now its all nice and white again....

This is the addition of the sun room....We enclosed are carport and built a sun room in its place...The front is being faced with mountain stone like the house is....I wanted everything to be uniformed....didn't want the sun room to be different from the house...

So that's pretty much what I have been up to this summer....I did manage to get some sewing projects done along with some makeovers....just not as much as I wanted...

I've been working on orders for fall merchandise when I get some spare time....which that's not very often.

Hopefully all is well with everyone.....summer is coming to close real fast...its seem like it just flew by....Enjoy the rest of your day....I'm going back outside to help Dh ....so take care and talk to you all soon....

Autumn Gatherings.........

Happy Sunday everyone.....Extremely hot here today....mid 90's with no air going at all....A good day to stay inside and watch ball games and work on my fall crafts...I can't seem to get into the fall mood to be making fall merchandise with the being so hot.....but I need to get these done...

I've been helping DH with the addition of our sun room....Got all walls up with windows in and French Door installed....We enclosed our carport for the sun room but I am really going to love sitting in it and working on my crafts....so relaxing...

Hopefully this week I can get some time to post a few pics and more of the fall items I have been working on....
