~~All in her glory...12ft. Christmas tree~~Part 1~~

This is her standing proudly in the only spot in the house that she would fit...

Close up of the ornaments....90% of the tree is handmade ornaments that I have made over the years..I draped burlap from top to bottom using it as the garland...


This is hubby's Christmas Carol book when he was just a little fellow.
There's to many pictures to post so your all welcome to come back tomorrow or Wednesday for part 2...Hubby and I have a Christmas party to attend tomorrow evening so I'm not sure if I'll have a chance to post part 2 or not....

    I just found your beautiful blog (1 yr late!). :) I was wondering about the way you use burlap? For garland do you purchase at a fabric store cut it into strips and then fray it yourself - or does it come in spools ribbon-size? Also the way you have it used with the pine and winterberries - where do you get burlap sacks or do you make them yourself?

    Hi Paulette,

    Thank you for stopping in for a visit..To answer your questions about the burlap, I buy it by the yard and just cut strips..Fray the edges by pulling the threads as much or as little as you like.
    I make my own sacks by cutting two large squares and sewing around three sides..Leave the top open to turn and then just fill them with what you like.
